You interact with agents by having chats with them. Messages get sent and received within chats.

There are 2 types of chats on ProteusAI: internal and external.
Internal Chats
These are chats initiated from within the ProteusAI app. They are primarily designed to test the quality of responses from an agent.
If you are unsatisfied with the quality of responses you are getting from an agent, you can always retrain it by updating the instruction and/or knowledge base you provide to it.
If you are satisfied with the quality of responses you are getting from an agent, you can build various integrations that bring it to your users/customers.
External Chats
Chats initiated from within integrations (e.g. chat widget, Slack integration, etc.) are external chats. These are typically chats involving your users/customers.
External chats are not free. Each external chat costs a maximum of €0.07 and a minimum of €0.03. Visit the pricing page for more details.
